However, when applying the term \u201ccraftsmanship\u201d to Westridge Builders, it has a wealth of meaning that goes back four generations. Michael Jasin was a semi-professional woodworker who made a name for himself by hand-tooling propellers for World War I planes. His talent for detailed woodworking led him to hand-craft instruments and furniture pieces. Eventually, he found home building to be his true calling.<\/p>\n<p>His son-in-law, Paul Tomich, acquired his talent for precision craftsmanship from his father-in-law, and incorporated Life Homes in 1958. The 1950\u2019s saw a trend in building with subdivisions popping up designed specifically for raising families. Life Homes fit perfectly into that niche.By the late 1960\u2019s the building baton was passed to Paul\u2019s son, Craige Tomich.
